ON Security LLC ("we," "us," or "our") stands behind the quality of our installation work. This page explains what's covered under our workmanship warranty, how manufacturer warranties apply to equipment, and what falls outside coverage.

Workmanship Warranty

ON Security LLC provides a workmanship warranty of [WORKMANSHIP PERIOD] on installations we perform. This warranty covers defects in our installation labor — such as improper mounting, wiring, or configuration errors — arising from normal use during the warranty period. If a covered issue is found, we will repair the installation at no additional labor cost to you.

Manufacturer Warranties

Equipment and hardware installed as part of your project (cameras, sensors, panels, and related devices) are covered by each manufacturer's own warranty, not by ON Security LLC directly. Manufacturer warranty terms, lengths, and claim processes vary by product and are set by the manufacturer — not by us. We're happy to help you initiate a manufacturer warranty claim for equipment we installed, even though the manufacturer ultimately administers it.

What's Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

  • Misuse or abuse of the system or equipment
  • Acts of nature (lightning, flooding, storms, fire, etc.)
  • Power surges or electrical events not caused by our installation work
  • Unauthorized modifications, tampering, or repairs performed by anyone other than ON Security LLC
  • Damage caused by third parties, including other contractors working on your property

Work falling outside these exclusions but outside the workmanship warranty period may still be available as a paid service call — contact us for a quote.

Making a Warranty Claim

We'll assess the issue and, if it's covered, schedule a repair. For equipment issues covered under a manufacturer warranty, we can help you determine the right manufacturer contact or process.

Changes to This Warranty

We may update this warranty policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. The warranty terms in effect on the date of your installation apply to that installation, regardless of later updates to this page.
